PANORAMA POINT ROSHGOL [ High Hindu Kush-Chitral ]

The unsurpassed beauty of North ChitralOne of the most but the rarest commanding panoramic view of 7 valleys of the high Hindu Kush is at 2 day trek from jeep road in the Roshgol valley of Chitral. This point is accessible without any climbing gear but over pastures and scree slopes of the Warsinj stream, starting from Duru camp [3300m],either touching or by passing the BC of south Saraghrar. This great point takes tou to an altitude of 5100m and spreads before you an expanse of undulating snow fields and domes to climb for many days even if you have no stomach or girded your loins, for climbing the virgin Prechu Zom 6100m at the south side of the snow filed.
From this panorama point you will see Hushko glacier, Nirughi glacier, Ziwar glacier to the north; Roshgol, Lotbaisun, Longol, Nurughikuh and Darband glaciers to the south-west; and you sea the following > 7000m peaks jumbled all around you; Saraghrar, Udren Zom, Shakaur, Urgend, Kuhe Tez, Akher Chioh, Istor-o - Nal, Terich Mir, Nobaisun Zom, Shingeik Zom, Noshaq, Langar Zom, Langutai-Barfi, Kohe Mandaras, to the west as well as a distant view of Buni Zom, Pal peak and other smaller peaks of Hindu Raj. You can capture sights of all the >7000m and > 6000m peaks – a jungle of unbelievable and mesmerizing panorama of Hindu Kush. SNOWBOARDING/ SKII SITES:- There are 5 skii/boarding sites for lovers of that sport to begin from February to August at different parts of upper Chitral. One of these is accessible for skiing by jeep in February; the next one in April and the other three from May to Augusts at one day trek from jeep road. Package is available at reasonable rates.
